Blessed Trinity School continues to be proactive in ensuring school safety for all students, faculty, and staff.
All exterior doors are locked 24-hours a day, and all entryways are monitored by closed circuit video cameras.
Students participate in school fire, tornado, lock-down, and evacuation drills.
Working with local emergency responders, teachers and staff recieve training in verbal de-escalation, active threats, Stop the Bleed, blood borne patheogyns, and mandated reporting, among other ongoing safety training.
Every administrator, faculty or staff member, volunteer, and chaperone must successfully complete VIRTUS training before being allowed to spend time with students. VIRTUS certification includes a criminal background check.
Our technology maintains strong filters to block student access to undesirable online content. Although we do use technology in our classrooms, Blessed Trinity has a strict policy against cell phones or other digital devices at school.
The care, safety, and wellbeing of children is an essential and shared responsibility of everyone who attends, works, or is involved at Blessed Trinity School. If you see or experience concerning behaviors, please report it immediately.
