Love Begins Here registration is open! 
Love Begins Here (LBH) provides middle and high school youth with an opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ in a life changing way through week long, local mission trips where they live in Catholic community and continue his work on earth. LBH has run mission trips in the Diocese of Madison since 2009, having given over 120,000 hours of service to our neighbors in need. Our parish has attended LBH since almost the beginning. This summer we hope to have a normal summer of LBH where we travel to a parish and stay and serve at that parish. If we are unable to travel to our designated parish, we will still hold it at our parish and serve the Lodi community.  

We are so excited for another summer of life changing service and time on the mission field in the Diocese of Madison! Here are our plans for this coming summer. We are confident that both MS and HS weeks of LBH will be full of the LBH spirit and community that our families are seeking. Also in common to both experiences is our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our missionaries, which will include following local (state and county) protocols for masking and social distancing.

Middle School Weeks - PARISH BASED PATH

• Day camp like experience (between 11:00am and 9:00pm).
• Home base is the parish you registered with.
• Missionaries serve in the community around their parish.
• Missionaries sleep at home each night.
• Collatio (our evening program) is on Zoom each evening with all participating parishes.
• The Core Team visits parishes in pairs throughout the week.

High School Weeks - TRADITIONAL PATH

• Overnight camp experience.
• Everyone attends at the same host parish.
• Missionaries sleep at the host parish.
• The Core Team lives in site at the host parish.
• Missionaries will be arranged into FAMILY GROUPS of less than 24 folks. Car groups, sleeping rooms, and indoor dining will be arranged with only members of the same "family", to help alleviate time in close proximity with missionaries outside their "family".

Our choice to hold High School weeks on the Traditional Path v. the Middle School weeks was primarily based on the overall group size (both by number of total participants and number of different parishes attending) and host parish capacity. In general, our HS weeks have between 5 - 7 parishes attending; our MS weeks have between 10 - 12 parishes attending.

Sunday 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Beginning this year all high school students are invited to attend the High School Formation nights. These nights will help teens grow in their relationships at home, at school, and at Church. Most importantly it will help them grow in their relationship with Christ. The nights will typically be as such: a game or activity, a talk given by one of the core team or another adult, small group time, and prayer.

There is a small registration fee of $25 to help off set costs of any supplies. 
We begin on Sunday, September 20th.
