Catholic Identity

Educating the Whole Person

Blessed Trinity has academic accreditation from Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA). Our school follows a curriculum focused on academic progress wrapped in social, emotional, and spiritual development. Blessed Trinity School's professional educators and staff understand individual student needs as they progress through each grade level.

Along with other schools in the Diocese of Madison, we hope that this education in faith provides is an integral part of their life long formation. Learn more about what that looks like by reading about our vision of the Portrait of a Graduate.

Sacramental Life

Students attend daily Mass twice a week . Students have the opportunity to go to Confession on Fridays during Eucharistic Adoration.

Religion Curriculum

Blessed Trinity School uses Faith and Life as the core religion curriculum. Faith and Life provides a basic foundation of faith and love of Jesus Christ, through which students respond to God’s call in prayer, mercy and justice. It is rich in content providing depth of understanding that resonates with students

Fr. Anthony Kersting visits the classrooms weekly for theology class, especially focused on the Ruah Woods curriculum.

Prayer

The entire school body prays together to begin and end the day, as well as pray the angelus together at noon. Daily opportunities for prayer are also provided in the classroom. Students spend time in Eucharistic Adoration on Fridays.

Education in Virtue

Blessed Trinity School uses Education in Virtue resources to help form our students as disciples, teaching them what it means to lead a happy life. Education in Virtue provides easy-to-use resources and materials developed by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and based on St. Thomas Aquinas’ teachings on the virtues and gifts of the Holy Spirit. These resources provide a framework that helps all ages understand how to live a more virtuous life.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Blessed Trinity School is integrating Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for our 4K and Kindergarten students in a CGS Atrium. CGS is a Montessori based religious experience in which the religious values of childhood, primarily those values of contemplation and enjoyment of God, are highlighted. CGS points to the Mass and helps students discover the gift of silence and conversation with God.

Ruah Woods

Blessed Trinity School has implemented the Ruah Woods curriculum which helps students grow in their God-given identity. It provides teachers and parents with church-approved tools for forming boys and girls in their God-given identity. This curriculum brings to life Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body in the context of our modern world. Through this curriculum, children gain an understanding of who God is, who they are as image-bearers of God, male or female, and how they fit into the world.
